Oh Those Celebrity Weddings
I’m doubtless far too much of a cynic often but I sometimes get a good giggle out of celebrity weddings. From what I’m able to tell, the larger the deal the media makes about the celebrity wedding the more of an opportunity the wedding will be a train wreck. As quickly as a celebrity couple starts going out with the tabloids straight away start throwing around wedding rumours. At what point did wedding become so shallow that celebs that have been dating for a week are thought to be ready for a celebrity wedding? It is really a shame what Hollywood, and the media, are doing to great establishments like wedding in the world today.
Also I am entertained by the people that clamor for photos from celebrity weddings. What did she wear? What did he wear? Who was in the wedding party? What did they assert as their vows? What did they serve at the reception? Here is my question , who cares? This state’s unquenchable lust for stories and gossip on celebs is permitting Hollywood and the media to debase everything sacred in our society and turn it all into a massive joke. But it is not all bad.
It’s The Quiet Ones You Have To Watch
I find the celebrity weddings that are reported on as a quiet tiny rite with no media or fans are the unions in Hollywood that survive the longest. When there are no photographers flying in on helicopters to get that one great shot for The Enquirer, or when the wedding reception isn’t covered by CNN, then I see the ensuing wedding as having an opportunity at survival. It really is not unvaryingly down to the celebs, in truth the bulk of the fault can lie with the media. But the folk that actually keep this circus going are the North American public and their obsession with celebrity worship.
Ok so perhaps the celebs truly are attempting to have a quiet celebrity wedding and perhaps they actually do try to keep everything as under wraps as possible. If that’s the case then what’s the reason for the photographers hiding in the trees trying to take footage of the bride as she walks down the aisle? It’s the thousands of people in America that just can’t appear to get sufficient reports on stars.
The fixation with knowing each small detail in a celebrity’s life has to make some celebs claustrophobic after a bit. Just because a celebrity makes their cash by entertaining the general public doesn’t mean that all celebs are made to be entertainment each waking moment of their lives.
